Our bed is built from two independent mattresses — one on each storage box. So firmness is chosen for each side separately: H2 for one, H3 for the other — and nobody sleeps on a compromise any more. We checked 35 continental beds from 26 Latvian sellers: not one offers this.
Different firmness per side: + 70 €, 5–6 weeks to make — the spring units are produced for your order. If the weight difference is under 20–25 kg, we honestly recommend the same firmness — you would not feel the difference.

Spring unit — mattress zones
This is about the mattress: inside it works a block of individually pocketed springs. Zones are bands with different spring resistance — they define how the mattress supports your shoulders, lower back and hips.
Storage box
Mattress firmness — set separately for each side of the bed
Firmness is how firmly the mattress holds your body. Our bed has two independent mattresses, so the left and the right side can have different firmness: each of you sleeps on your own.
The same firmness on both sides (H2 or H3) is included in the price. Different firmness per side: a one-off surcharge of + 70 €, 5–6 weeks to make. A single-piece topper goes on top — no gap down the middle.
Topper — the soft comfort layer on top
The topper lies across BOTH mattresses: it bridges the join in the middle, evens the surface into one sleeping area and makes sleep deeper and more comfortable. The cover is removable and washable. Sewn in our workshop in Ogre.

Topper cover
Every cover comes off — from the topper to the headboard. That means you can take them off and clean them. And when the bedroom takes on a new mood, you re-cover it instead of buying a new one.
Care: spot-clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap. Wash at 30 °C max on a gentle cycle, low spin, dry flat, do not tumble dry; close the zips before washing. Padded covers (storage box and headboard, with foam and wadding) may change shape and appearance when washed.
Seen from the foot end: each half of the mattress lifts to its own side on gas struts. Together they form a V — and you reach the storage under the whole sleeping surface from the left and from the right.

A person spends about 25 years asleep — and much of the other two thirds is decided at night: the focus in the morning, the mood, the back that aches or does not. Someone who wakes up tense, turns all night or feels every move their partner makes rarely sleeps “just badly” — most often they sleep on the wrong spring unit. So before buying, three terms are worth knowing — wherever you end up buying:

All the springs are tied into one surface with spiral wire. Press in one place and the whole surface gives way. The consequences: movement travels to the other side of the bed, the hip lies in a hollow, and the loaded middle sags over the years. In the morning the back feels it first — everyone knows it from an old guest mattress. We do not use bonnell in our beds.
Pocket spring unit, 1 zoneevery spring on its own
Each spring sits in its own fabric pocket and responds only where the load appears — point elasticity. Movement stays on its own side of the bed. All the springs have the same strength: an even, calm feel across the whole surface. A good choice for back and front sleepers who want the same firmness everywhere — and for anyone who wants to sleep through the night next to a restless partner.
The same independently working springs — but in seven areas of different strength: softer at the shoulders, firmer under the waist and hips. Sleeping on your side, the shoulder sinks in, the waist is supported, the spine stays straight. The layout is symmetrical — head end and foot end are equal. You feel the difference in the morning: shoulders and lower back relaxed — instead of a numb arm and a stiff back.
The cover is woven from a fabric with silver ions (Ag⁺) worked into it. Silver naturally slows bacterial growth — the bed stays fresh longer, with fewer odours even between washes. Composition: 67% polyester, 33% viscose — the viscose absorbs moisture and wicks it away, so the night does not get hot. The ions sit in the fibre itself rather than being applied on top — the effect does not wash out. Available as a cover for the Relax topper; standard on Luxus Relax.

What these numbers mean
Martindale rub cycles — how many times the fabric is rubbed with a standard abrasive before wear appears. It is a durability test, not a number of washes. Benchmark for upholstery fabrics: 15,000–25,000 normal domestic use, 30,000+ heavy use, 40,000+ hotels and offices. Our fabrics are 45,000–100,000, which is hotel grade.
Weight (g/m²) — fabric density: the higher the number, the thicker the fabric and the less it stretches.
Pet suitability (BS 8479) — resistance to snagging by claws, on a scale of 1 to 5 where 5 is best.

Yes. The sleeping surfaces are standard sizes (140/160/180 × 200 cm) — any bed linen and fitted sheets in those sizes will fit.
In a bonnell unit all the springs are tied together: press in one place and the whole surface rocks along. Pocket springs each sit in their own fabric pocket and respond only where the load is — hence precise support, calmer nights for two, and 7 firmness zones.
Yes. The 7-zone pocket spring unit is made separately for each side of the bed — you choose H2 (medium firm) or H3 (firm) per side. The standard is H3 on both sides, included in the price; any other combination is made to individual spec for + 70 €. A single-piece topper goes on top, so there is no gap down the middle.
It is optional. A topper protects the mattress, washes completely (the cover is in two parts) and fine-tunes how the bed feels. You can also order one later from the same workshop.
The bed is delivered in parts. The largest is the headboard — 180 × 120 cm; it goes through ordinary doors and stairwells.
Simple. The storage box modules arrive assembled — the mattress is bolted to the lifting mechanism at the factory. On site you place the modules, screw on the headboard and unroll the topper — done.
No — the gas struts take the weight of the sleeping surface. Important: do not open the box while someone is lying on the bed. If you do not need the storage, the bed can be ordered without the lifting mechanism — 70 € cheaper.
That is exactly what the free fabric samples are for: you decide on the real fabric, not on a screen.

Standard legs are 6 cm; most robots need 9–10 cm. Ask for taller legs (10–12 cm) when ordering and we fit them at no extra cost; the sleeping surface rises by 4–6 cm.

Right of withdrawal. Under a distance contract the consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Send the withdrawal to: SIA “Lycoris”, Rankas iela 1, Ogres novads, LV-5033, Latvia, [email protected].
To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear statement (e.g. a letter or an e-mail) is enough. The deadline is met if you send it before the period expires.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except extra costs of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from receiving your notice, using the same means of payment; you will not incur any fees. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. We collect the goods ourselves. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 35 (within Latvia). You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Exception — a made-to-order item. Your bed is made to your specification — you choose the size, the cover fabric and the topper. Under Section 12(6) of the Consumer Rights Protection Law and clause 22.3 of Cabinet Regulation No. 255 of 20 May 2014 “Regulations regarding distance contracts”, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specification. That is why we send real fabric samples free of charge in advance: you decide on the original, not on a screen.
